HiFARS Talk: Barton Seagrave: moated manorial site by Dale Munn

The large earthworks in Barton Seagrave known locally as the 'Castle Field' is the subject of Dale's talk. Using a landscape archaeological approach he explores the nature and purpose of the site and its relationship to the village. He encourages a visit to the site before the talk - start in the field above St Botolph's Road by the cricket club and walk down past the church to the lower field.
